The latest opinion polls show that Vice President Sarah Trump has made it clear her intention to run. Duterte, the daughter of former President Rodrigo Duterte, remains ahead of other potential contenders. The Philippine think tank Stratbase commissioned the polling agency “Pulse Asia” to conduct a survey on the support of potential candidates for the presidential election. The survey was conducted from the 3rd to the 7th, with a sample of 1,500 respondents, and the error value was plus or minus 2.5%. The survey results show that if Sara Duterte faces Leni Robredo, the popular presidential candidate of the anti-Duterte camp, 51% of the respondents support Sara, 41% support Robredo, and 8% are undecided or unwilling to express their position.
