It’s Morning Spoilers!  The Brave and the Bold According to a new rumor from World of Reel, Grantchester actor Tom Brittney has been cast as Batman in James Gunn’s The Brave and The Bold. Homewrecker Deadline reports that Simu Liu has joined the cast of Xavier Gens’ sci-fi survival thriller, Homewrecker, in a currently undisclosed role. Starring Allison Williams and Michelle Randolph, the story is said to feature “three star-crossed Americans” who “are suddenly forced to work together to survive a terrifying unexplained global event that threatens to destroy life as they know it.”

The Leaching A woman with amnesia must contend with a giant leech monster and her father’s ghost in the trailer for The Leaching.

Developed for television by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Diane Ademu-John (Dune: Prophecy) and Declan de Barra (The Witcher: Blood Origin), the series is said to be set “in the dark underworld of New Orleans,” where “the Winters family builds an empire around a powerful new drug—crafted from the ashes of the dead—that grants users vivid, haunting visions of the past. But as demand surges, rival factions, deadly secrets, and supernatural forces close in, pulling them deeper into a violent and inescapable nightmare of crime, horror, and family legacy.”

The Last Kids on Earth THR reports that Disney+ and the Disney Channel have ordered a new live-action series based on Max Brallier’s The Last Kids on Earth range of YA novels. The new version hails from showrunners Chad Fiveash and James Stoteraux (The Vampire Diaries, Gotham Knights) with Kevin Tancharoen (The Brothers Sun, Agents of SHIELD) attached to direct. Reframing one of literature’s most iconic heroines, the novel positions Van Tassel not as a romantic prize, but as the central figure in a dangerous mystery and seductive supernatural love triangle. He is hired by a mysterious man to find a missing woman.
