Micro Harmonics Corporation has introduced the OT028, a WR-2.8 orthomode transducer for millimeter-wave and sub-THz systems operating from 260 to 400 GHz. The component provides typical insertion loss below 1 dB, port-to-port isolation above 35 dB, return loss above 15 dB and cross-polarization coupling below 35 dB, supporting dual-polarized operation in advanced communications research, radiometry, high-frequency testbeds and scientific instrumentation. Its compact precision-machined construction is intended to support mechanical stability and repeatable integration in space-constrained assemblies, while measured performance data across the full band helps engineers evaluate behavior in operating conditions.
